Point your iPhone or iPad at a Mac library on your home network and send photos and videos directly to it — over Wi-Fi, with no cable and no cloud in between. Turn on auto-transfer and your camera roll clears itself out as you shoot.

  • Direct Wi-Fi transfer, no cloud in between
  • Auto-transfer clears your camera roll as new photos arrive
  • Choose exactly which Mac library receives them
  • Optionally delete originals from the device once transferred

Three steps.
Then you're done.

No server to maintain, no VPN to configure. Set it up once and it stays set up. Getting started →

Point Raza Photos at your photo folders. It indexes the metadata and leaves every file exactly where it is — nothing moves, nothing is copied. Supported formats →

Using Bonjour, your Mac quietly announces the library on your local network. No ports to open. No router settings. Nothing to configure. How does discovery work? →

On any iPhone, iPad, or other Mac in the house, open Raza Photos. The library is just there. If you have multiple Macs, all libraries appear merged into one. Who can see my library? →

Everything you'd expect.
None of what you don't.

Built from scratch in Swift 6 for the latest Apple platforms — native, fast, and designed to fit right in.

Your library organized the way you think about it — filter by year, location, faces, custom albums, or travel events. All from the sidebar. See how browsing works →

See where every photo was taken on a map. Add or correct countries and cities from your iPhone with place names looked up through Apple Maps. See the map view →

Faces are detected and grouped entirely on your device. No photo ever leaves your home network for recognition — not even for a moment. How it works →

Burst sequences are grouped automatically. Scroll vertically to move through the burst frame by frame. Scroll horizontally to continue through your timeline. How burst navigation works →

Full HDR rendering with gain map support, and Live Photos that play just as they would in Photos.app — because this is a native app, not a browser. How HDR and Live Photos work →

Fix a date, assign a location, tag a person — from the couch, on your phone. Changes write back to the original files as XMP/EXIF without touching a single pixel. See how metadata editing works →

Got photos on two Macs? Both are discovered automatically and shown as a single unified, deduplicated library. No merging, no copying.

Start or stop sharing your library whenever you want. When the server is off, the app works as a local viewer on your Mac alone. See how library sharing works →

Supports JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, PSD, and AVIF. Metadata exports to open standards so you can move your library to any other app, anytime. Supported formats →

Your data stays portable.

Raza Photos reads from seven metadata standards and writes back to open formats — so nothing is locked in, ever. Full metadata details →

Your photos never leave your home.

Not to our servers. Not to anyone's servers. Raza Photos has no servers.

🚫

No servers

Your library never goes to any server, ours or anyone else's. The only outside requests go to Apple Maps, for map tiles and place-name lookups.

📊

No telemetry

No analytics, no crash reporting sent anywhere, no usage data.

👤

No account

No sign-up, no email, no profile. Nothing to create, nothing to delete.

🏠

Home network first

At home, everything stays on your Wi-Fi. Remote access is optional and off by default. How? →

Why local-first matters →

Let the kids browse.
Not rearrange.

Raza Photos gives you three levels of access control — no configuration wizard, no user accounts, no passwords to hand out.

🖥

Read-only server

Lock the Mac server entirely. Remote devices — every iPhone, iPad, or other Mac on the network — can browse the full library but cannot make any changes whatsoever. The library is yours to curate, from your Mac alone.

✏️

Block remote edits only

Allow browsing from any device on the network, but prevent metadata changes — no editing dates, locations, albums, or people tags from iOS. Browsing remains completely unrestricted.

📱

Read-only client

Set a specific iPhone or iPad to read-only mode on the device itself. That device becomes a pure viewer — no editing controls are shown, regardless of what the server allows.

No accounts, no passwords, no parental control apps. Just a toggle. Learn more about security →
